I'd been staring at a pile of clues and nursing a bottle of scotch all day but it just didn't add up. Why would anyone want to threaten a well known entertainer like that?
Suddenly there was a noise at the door. I instinctively drew my gun as it was after hours and the building should have been empty. My head throbbed like a firehose as the shadow in the frosted glass bent down. The hissing of paper being slid under the door filled my ears and then the figure was gone.
My mind raced at the possible convents of the bulging envelope that had been left for me. Was Sharkey taunting me? Had some informant crawled out of the woodwork to give me an anonymous clue? I pulled out my trusty knife and when I opened the envelope I saw the dame in three pieces.
That bastard had carried out on his threats. It was too late to save DT but come hell or high water Sharkey was gonna pay for his deed with every last fiber of his being.

To quote my own post earlier this year.......
Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:You sir just officially blew my fucking mind.Luke wrote:I still want to do a League type comic with Indiana Jones, Jack Ryan, Han Solo, Rick Deckard and Dr. Richard Kimble and call it THE FANTASTIC FORDS.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote: Such a good flick, Harrison Ford is amazing in every movie he does.
Call DC, get Lucas & Ford and option it to WB as a spin off of their three movies we'll be using and let's make this happen, NOW.
"Once simply an actor a dimensional rift brought him together with four of his other movie-time personae. Unable to prevent the villains of their respective franchises from escaping celluloid into reality they donned their costumes once again and became, THE FANTASTIC FORDS......."
The dialogue could be epic!
(Setting is the rooftop of the headquarters of THE FANTASTIC FORDS)
Deckard: It Didn't have to be this way, Han! Now tell me, where's the original! (Bloody and bandaged fingers wrapped around the gun pointed at Han-Solo replicant)
Han Replicant: (aims blaster at Jack Ryan's skull) I can't do that Deckard you should know that by now! I guess I'll just have to make you remember.... (puts pressure on the trigger)
Jack Ryan: Do it Rick! It's not like you're going to let him leave here alive by now. Nine people dead, a politician's brains splattered all over the pavement on LIVE TV by a bullet from a sniper's rifle with him behind the smoking gun. There's no excuses anymore!
Deckard: Why! We could have found a way, he could have lived alongside the rest of us! Become one of the team, fought to make up for his mistakes, anything but this! (Has a bead dead-locked on replicant Han's forehead)
Replicant Han: (Presses blaster to Jack's forehead and gives a final farewell) I know.... (Two shots ring out and Han falls along with a shout from Jack)
Deckard: Jack, you OK buddy?! (ruses over to Jack's side)
Jack: You're a damn good shot kid, another second and I would'a been worm food. (grunts and brushes off Deckard's hand as ghe pulls himself up off the ground.) As for him....(points at the corpse of replicant Han)...get off my damn building....(kicks replicant Han's corpse off the side)
And that would be the opening pages of the very first comic.
Sold on trying to make this idea a reality yet? I could write epic stuff like this all day.
