X-Box Arcade for $150 @ Gamestation

Grab a 20GB Hard drive from Ebay for about £30 and you've basically got a Pro pack. Now I'm pondering wherever or not to grab one. Would it be worth my time if I don't really like most of the console's 'killer app' titles?

Main things I would be buying it for:
Live Arcade, demo downloads (so I can see what games tickle my fancy), Virtua Fighter 5, Virtua Tennis 3, Sega Rally, future titles like Street Fighter 5, also so I can play old XBox games like JSRF. All those 'AAA' titles like Bioshock, Halo 3, Call of Duty don't interest me in the slightest, although I'd have to give Orange Box a shot in demo form..

You should know that we Brits always have to pay more for gaming stuff, always. It's actually cheaper than the Wii, which is £180 over here, and normally this Arcade pack is £200.

Consoles are mostly more expensive here in Europe.

I recall the Ps3 getting down 100$ to 400$....
And how much was it here in good ol‘ Europe?
450€...

And the Wii is in Britain extremely expensive, because there are none to be found there^^

Its a great deal.

My current 360 is giving me regular DRE's and I think its actually getting noiser. Might just pick up a new one and then do "something" with the current one.

We Brits normally pay more for pretty much everything really. Tax, shipping and greed all add up. They dont call it rip off Britain for no reason
