Game Boy Classic Repair Problem with Contrast

Post by bad4brain »

Hi! I have a Game Boy Classic with a broken contrast control.
When I try to turn the contrast up or down, it just changes kind of randomly.
My guess is that there is a loose contact at the pot that regulates the contrast.
Has anybody else experienced this problem?
Is there a quick fix for this or do I need to resolder the pot or even get a new one?

Just a very little bit, maybe spray on toothpick first.

Cool. Maybe it was just a broken solder joint. :)
