Wow -- that's crazy -- never realized.
If we do decide to change games, please let me know ASAP via email so I can work on re-doing the graphics.
Thanks!

well September is 4 days away, so if we ARE going to switch games it would be beneficial (for those of us who need to buy the game) to know like... yesterday.

So.....can we start thinking about next year now? XD

Wait...so it is already decided? No input from the forum this time around?

Nothing has been finalized on the calender yet - sorry if that was worded funny initially. We are going to try something new this year. The forum is going to decide on the genres for the months and a small group will decide on the actual games.

The only thing I worry about is that doing this means some games from more obscure genres, or games that are just hard to classify will be left out. I dunno what Toejam and Earl would count as - action adventure seems a bit broad. How about if we'd done Jet Set Radio? Arcade Graffiti-em-up doesn't seem like a very well rounded category, and the only other thing i would classify it as would be action. And when I think of action games, I cant say they come to mind. I think of all out action titles like Contra instead. Pikmin seems a bit hard to describe as a strategy game, but then what else could it be?

Maybe I'm just being picky. I'm sure theres loads of great games we can play anyhow, and I'm sure some of the more obscure games with awkward genre classifications will be considered somewhere.
