I bought one of those back in 2002 at Sofmap in Akihabara. Damn thing lasted 3 months, then caput! I guess I got a crappy one!

This is awesome. I got this exact same GameAxe Color (ps1 screenshots and all) in the mid-nineties. I was a huge fan of portables, especially the Sega Nomad because of it's ability to play games 2 player. I eventually ordered the GameAxe online, partly because of it's 2nd controller port, after a friend came back from a trip with a bunch of Famicom carts we couldn't play on NES. It's a really nice handheld with a lot of great features for it's time. I've never actually hooked it up to a TV myself, so that was really cool to see!
