I think my launch PS2 has kicked the can..
Well it's been a great ride.. A few months ago I opened her up and cleaned the laser, and it still barely read even the silver ps2 games.. It makes a couple of clicking noises before the disk starts to run so I know there is a malfunction somewhere along with the weak lense.. I wonder if there is any way I can get her to run a couple more months before I buy a ps2 slim.. Today I tried adjusting the white gear inside the disk tray but that doesn't seem to work either(I even adjusted the screw near the laser frame).. So time to get a new one I'm assuming?(Going to make a poll, yes I know corny but I'm really going to miss my old ps2
)

What you need is a network adapter and FreeMCBoot.

Did you get both lenses clean, or just the topmost one?

I have net adapters if you can't find one and several people can help you with FreeMcBoot here.Hatta wrote:What you need is a network adapter and FreeMCBoot.

Get a dolphin that can play the trombone.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.
