My friends and I just finished watching Avatar: The Last Airbender Book 2. I've already watched all three books and think the show is fucking fantastic, but when I came back to school I wanted my friends to watch it and see if they would like it just as much as I do. Well to my surprise, they are completely obsessed with it now and cant wait to get started on book 3. Great Times
My wife watches True Blood and I have to agree that it is pretty damn bad. She always watches that Vampire Diaries show or whatever it is called and while not as bad as True Blood it still sucks. And I like Buffy too.
I said this somewhere else but I am currently working my way through all of Star Trek TNG and I'll be starting Deep Space 9 at some point here.

I did that a couple years ago with my GF. We started from TOS and got halfway through Voyager before we couldn't stand it. She had never watched Star Trek before, so I turned her into a nerd, heh.
Wish Jon Stewart would come back from vacation.

I have TOS and TAS on DVD. I have seen every episode of those multiple times between the DVDs and reruns over the years. I watchs some of TNG, DS9 and VOY when they aired but I have not seen every episode so I am watching all of them now. I refuse to move into Enterprise territory though.
TNG is the only Star Trek I was ever into. I occasionally will catch the episodes they show now on the BBC and I still find the show entertaining. I think TNG is timeless
I'm getting close to finishing season 3 of Supernatural and I just love this show. Like any show it has a few dud episodes and there's a lot of story ideas that have been done before on other shows, but the story, plot, action, special effects and character development are pretty good and the writing is actually pretty clever and surprising in some episodes.

I have just started watching two series: Deadwood, and Mad Men. 3 episodes deep on both and I must say, they are fantastic. As a Brit, I really do love my American drama.
Currently playing Splinter Cell: Blacklist

Well this week is when a lot of network shows come back. I'm getting ready to welcome back Fringe to my tv
Saw the Chuck season premiere. It was good, though there was something off about it that I can't quite put my finger on. Still enjoyed it though
Finished season 5 of Supernatural, I can't believe I haven't heard more about this show. It's f***ing brilliant! Season 5 is one of the most satisfying television seasons I've ever watched and I have to say, Supernatural has taken its storyline in places other shows wouldn't have the balls to do. Season 6 starts this week, I'm curious to see where the show goes from here

I just finished this mini-series, and wow - what a great one! I haven't read the book, which I know has many fans - but from what I've heard the series was quite faithful to the source material. The characters are almost instantly believable and the story has so many intriguing plot twists and turns (including many unexpected ones). It really sucks you in, punches you in the stomach, and keeps your attention throughout. Highly recommended.
I know that the book has a sequel - would it be worth reading if I only had this mini-series to go on? Maybe I'll just wait and see if Starz adapts it as well...
