The game I'm playing now is the PC classic Planescape: Torment. It just saw a re-release on gog.com. This is my first time ever playing it and I'm excited after reading all of the hype. It's an RPG and not a survival horror game, but it's definitely got creepy elements to it.

I started out with some Mutant League Football (GEN) this morning, as well as a little bit of the tough as hell Ultimate Ghosts N' Goblins (PSP). So far both are nice reminders of a certain kind of charm and sense of humor that is too often missing from games these days...

I played a bit of Dead Space: Extraction today. Gonna try to finish it this month for sure!
Also downloaded a free iPhone game called Monster Madness. It's similar to Plants vs. Zombies, definitely a fun little Halloween title.

Not big on horror but in the theme of Halloween, I'd second Castlevania & Darkstalkers.
I'm surprised no one said Superman 64 yet.

I think I'm going to attempt to beat Luigi's Mansion on Halloween. I've heard it's pretty short, and I only just got it, so why not?

Oi, I'm not sure if I want to like or hate Extermination. On one hand, there are a lot of little touches that I like, such as my weapon loadout affecting how I use it, having to switch to first person view to use the flashlight when trying to move down dark corridors, and having easy access to two different knife strikes for up close enemies.
But the game has also done a few things to piss me off, such as requiring me to remember a computer password that is only shown for two seconds in a cutscene, or sticking me in a room with a large group of enemies and not really giving a hint as to what to do. It doesn't really help that the only enemy I've fought so far is tiny, fast, and always appears in groups, and I have to worry about becoming infected on top of dying from massive health loss. We'll see if it picks up any from here. The password thing really burned me though, and I had to go look up a guide to get through that area.

I'm currently playing Castlevania Curse of Darkness on the xbox. Never got around to beating it, so I'm giving it a second try.
I forgot how fun it is.
