Hey
I recently tried hooking my CDX upto a monitor using a XRGB-2 Plus and the results were horrible. The problem does not lie with the monitor or XRGB, they work beautifully with my Saturn via RGB. So, its either the CDX or the Scart cable I am using. I hook it up using some custom made Genesis II Scart cables that is routed through a similarly custom made Euro Scart to Japanese RGB21 converter.
The guy who made both cables for me is a reputable person who has been doing this for long time. The fault does not lie with the converter, as that functions perfectly with the Saturn as well. So its either the Euro Scart or the CDX.
Due to this unit being rare I have not been able to find any information about people successfully tapping into its RGB out or not. Or wither it even does RGB properly. So, anyone here with a CDX that has it hooked up via RGB that can confirm that it is supposed to work.
Or anyone know anything at all?
Can anyone confirm first hand that CDX does RGB?

The pinout listed here for Genesis stuff is conspicuously missing the CDX since it does list the Nomad and 32X so it's possible that they removed some of the signals.

I'm using RGB through my CDX at the moment with no problems. It's gotta be the cable.

Yeah, I am pretty certain of that now, I have gotten other people from other forums confirming that RGB works as it is supposed to from the CDX.
So I am going to get a replacement cable.
Next challenge, get my LCD TV to interpret the XRGB VGA signal in a way that people without Alzheimer might also appreciate.
