I just read about this game called "FreeJack" on Kotaku, and it looks pretty sweet. It's a PC game based off the Freerunning sport, with cel-shaded graphics, rock and hip-hop music, and stunts. Sound familiar? They described it as JSR without skates, and that is exactly what I was thinking. It's getting released as an open beta tomorrow. I'm not exactly sure what the goal of the game is, but it seems cool, nonetheless.

I don't agree with the comparison. Parkour and freerunning is so different from skating around in Jet Set Radio. Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider, Mirror's Edge, that's parkour and freerunning. Jet Set Radio was more like a skateboarding game like Tony Hawk
Looks interesting though, but the MMO and competitive aspects don't appeal to me. I liked my single player Jet Grind Radio

While I see why some would say it is similar to JSRF, it is indeed different, nonetheless, it's similar enough that I'm interested. Also, it's up for download already, click the Download button, and rename the file to an exe. I'm still installing, so dunno if there's any further protection to keep you from getting in early.
