How Often Should I Post?

Post by racketboy »

Back to the quality over quantity thing....
How often do you think I should post articles to the site?
Posting less often would allow me to keep the quality up, reasearch more, and improve the actual writing.
But at the same time, I don't want everyone to lose interest because I don't post enough.

Thoughts please

You or anyone else should post something every 3 days.

once a week is good in my opinion... maybe twice.

If it was me, you'd be lucky to get me once a month.

I think you should post whenever you have an article ready to be posted, simple as that. Of course I would love to see something new twice a week, but if you need more time once a week is also fine.

My goal is to keep a bit of a rhythm to keep it consistent for repeat readers.
Plus it gives me a bit of motivation to get my butt in gear.

I agree with this. Getting other people to help should give you the time to do the articles you want and keep the site fresh with new content.

Its easier said than done, however.

If you up for helping out, lemme know :)

The concept of an "inspiration bucket" or something could be cool. A bunch of ideas are posted in a thread, and if you want to write an article on it, you "call" it. Post it in the forum, and if Racket likes it, he puts it on the front page. If not, we all contribute and make it into a better article. Of course, its RacketBoy's site, and if he wants it to be a venue for primarily his own work (which is very understandable), that's his prerogative.

That's a cool idea and I have no problem with it.
I guess its just a question of how to keep it organized and how much people will participate.
