Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

What's The Most Valuable Game You Own?

Post by racketboy »

After discussing the whole Spiderman 32X thing with Scooter, I can't help but wonder what the most valuable games everyone has is...

Personally, I don't collect a lot and I never had much luck of picking the rare games before they were valuable, but probably some of my most valuable would be from my Dreamcast library like Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves, Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, and Bangai-O

I also have Ikaruga for the Gamecube.

Probably Shenmue 2 on Dreamcast, complete in the unique box, in great condition.

I'm not sure how rare that is over here in the UK, I occasionally see it going for £20-30, but I managed to pick mine up from a second hand shop for £1.50. I also have Ikaruga for the GC.

Yeah in the USA the prices are insane for import copies.

My most valuable game might be Panzer Dragoon Saga, Radiant Silvergun, or SF3 Premium Disk, depending on the Ebay tide of the moment.

That said, in my opinion my "rarest" game is Keriotosse! for the Saturn. It took me nearly a year to find a copy of it.

I also never really paid much attention to valuable/rare PC games until I recently sold most of mine off, at which point I came to find that my copy of the Quest For Glory Anthology is worth nearly $100; quite a pleasent surprise.

Hrm.... I wonder if my copy of Phantasy Star IV with box isn't my rarest... But I'm not sure. I have Grandia Digital Museum for Saturn with case and manual. Shining Force III ep 1 for Saturn. KOF '95 with ROM cart. Eh, nothing super rare. Just good games I like.

Would guess its Panzer Dragoon Saga (PAL) for me.

Also have Snatcher for the Mega CD and SF2 for the PC Engine although I have no clue as to how rare they are.

I remember having some Coleco Vision games + system as well somewhere.
