Xbox 360 E67 error

As I was leaving the university student center after finishing my C++ homework, I checked out the For Sale board. One guy was selling his Xbox 360 with the E67 error for $30 or best offer.

I checked online and it said that it is only a problem finding/reading the hard drive, which apparently can sometimes be fixed by cleaning the contacts, else it's a send-in to Micro$oft. I'm probably going to contact the guy and see what he's throwing in before all I get is a brick, even if I can fix it. I also want to make sure it's the E67 error and not something like the E74 (that would make me pissed).

Do you guys think it's a good deal, and have any of you experienced this error?

Its just a error with the HDD not the Xbox itself, Buy it.

After I did that I would take the HDD off, try formating it, if it doesnt work and its buggered, who cares go get a 16gb usb, use that as a HDD for save games and your good to go with a cheap 360.
