Namco Arcade Stick or Hori Virtua Fighter 4 Stick?
Namco Arcade Stick or Hori Virtua Fighter 4 Stick?
I've got both the Namco Arcade Stick and the Hori Virtua Fighter 4 Fighting Stick
Any opinions as to which is better? Which should I spend my time with for fighting games?
Ideas, opinions, tips, or info appreciated!

Re: Namco Arcade Stick or Hori Virtua Fighter 4 Stick?
The Namco Arcade Stick is the single greatest stick I've ever used. And I've used a lot of arcade sticks!
It's a simple rugged design exudes simplicity, is moddable and can have parts replaced (you just have to take your time with that if you want top do it). Not to mention the stick is designed with a 10 degree incline so your wrists rest naturally on it with no effort.
Not to mention it's small and compact but large enough and spaced appropriately for two big hands. Also, the short height of the box itself along with the low plane base, 10 degree incline and rubber feet mean that even though it's not a big heavy monster it's not going to be sliding around anywhere when you're using it.

You should probably just use the Virtua Fighter stick for Virtua Fighter as not a single other major fighting game I know of only uses 3 buttons. That Namco stick looks pretty tight, I'm jealous.

Wait. If you own both, why not TRY them out and see which one is better for you.gnusys wrote:I've got both the Namco Arcade Stick and the Hori Virtua Fighter 4 Fighting Stick

Better then getting all this pointless "No this one is better."
After all the gamer playing the stick is the final judge.

I was too lazy to find my camera and take a picture of MY Namco Arcade Stick
As far as using both and making a decision...I don't get a lot of playtime with my collection. The forum posts help. Would rather concentrate on the "good stuff".

Namco. I bought mine years ago at EB Games for $20. Never found one locally since.
