Finally got all 12 achievements for Pac-Man CE! Man I love that game. It's pure creamy retro goodness. Anyone here who has this game, please gimme a friend invite. I'd love to have more people on my friends leaderboard to engage in a little friendly rivalry. The tag's RadarScope1
I wish there were more truly good retro re-mixes out there. I'm looking forward to Space Invaders Extreme for the DS.
Hell yeah (Achievement addiction edition)

You should try Robotron - the original two-stick, multi-directional shooter. Simple yet very effective and addictive gameplay, just like pac. I think it's better than all that have followed it...Difficult at first until you begin to easily discern the enemies from those you have to rescue.
And I agree, Pac-man:CE is one of the reasons I got my 360.

I'll be getting some MS points after Xmas one way or another so I'm eyeing a few games and Robotron is definitely one of them. I have Geo Wars and it's OK, but for some reason it hasn't grabbed me like it seems to have grabbed lots of other people. (I think one reason is I have a 4:3 TV and the playing field is more or less made for 16:9 screens.)
I haven't tried the Robotron demo, but I should. BTW, there's a retro arcade in my neighborhood that has an original Robotron!

I was at 267k, and hadn't played for the past couple weeks, but fired pac up a couple days ago and raised it another ~20k...I surprised myself. Maybe I need to take a hiatus more often...I'm gunning for a friend of mine who has 302k, that bastard. Friends make for good motivators!
I worked at Gamestop years ago and my manager had about 30 pins and vids in his house. I had never played Robotron before then. Not even sure I had heard of it. So my introduction to it was at his 'arcade', and it became the sole vid I would play when I went over. Been hooked ever since.

Had my best run ever last night. Bumped my hi up to by more than 40k! I fell *just* short of ya, though -- I'm at 279k. I was just one 3200 ghost a few dots away from you.
It sounds stupidly self-evident but the best favor you can do yourself is not dying. If you stretch it out and keep the multiplier at 50, it makes a bigger difference than you would think, even if you're just eating dots and not ghosts. I think I went to somewhere around the 4 min mark without dying, by far my longest go on a single Pac.
