trying to remember a shmup...

back in the early to mid 90s my uncle used to played a vertical shmup on his computer. i remember that a claw could be used to grab things. i think.

that is all i know. does anybody have any ideas on what game it is?

I know Pop 'n TwinBee came out for snes, msx and family computer (not pc though) and it's a vert and the ships have arms that grab stuff....but not exactly a claw. Claw grabbing does sound familiar for some reason...but I can't think of a vert off hand with a claw.

if it was an msx or some other "computer" like an amiga, check those lists out too. Then search for them on youTube to see if it's the game your looking for.

I remember a shareware game on the PC where you were a spaceship and could use a claw to extend toward the top of the screen and grab power ups. Of course I don't remember what it was called.
