with many systems available today and each system has 3 wires of output(other than hdmi)
this looks like something that is highly in demand, but there are only few options out there.
On the contrary, not the older example above but I do see System Video Selector boxes at most any major store. Frys, Walmart, or Target have them. The trick is finding a HDTV with S-Video inputs, let alone a "rare find" 4:3 CRT or extremely rare HD-CRT.
I have a psyclone source selector on my gaming TV. It's pretty good and looks nice. I recommend. You can do custom input titles! yay! I also use a Sony SB-HD41R HDMI Selector for my PS3, 360, and laptop. No complaints here.

Powered selectors are great for digital signals as they require power.
Analog signals such as Component, S-Video and Composite on the other hand are awful via powered switchers thanks to all the interference that's introduced.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS
