I wish I could understand what it was about WL2 that you didn't like. WL3 felt like almost exactly like WL2 except for they took out the multiple ending feature that I loved so much about WL2. WL2 is probably my favorite gameboy game besides Megaman V.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

reallY??? Weird. I don't know. I just found it so ugly. That's my first thought. I hated the way Wario looked. I found the controls really clunky too. But I don't even remember man. I haven't played that game in a loooong time now. I just know that 1, 3 and 4 didn't have the same bad first impression when I played them.

here's something weird. I hated Wario Land II on GBC. But playing it on GB, it seems like a way better game. What's funny is the #1 thing I hated about it was the overwhelming feeling that the game was just plain "ugly." I'm starting to think this was more a product of colorizing it for GBC... it's actually not a bad game at all.

I still stand by the GBC re-release being super ugly.
