I'm more into Kinect because it has more promising titles (Child of Eden, Project Draco, Michael Jackson etc) but its support might dry up if it doesn't perform well (and even if it does devs are habitual at getting complacent like in the Wii scenario)

No. I'm saying all the controllers in the past weren't "handed". You just used your fingers and thumbs. The only way to make the Wii & Move controllers that aren't right handed biased would be to make them symmetrical. I need an analog stick on my Wiimote and an 'A' button on my Nunchuck is how it stands right now.
You're telling us that you can move the pointer and the character using an anolog on the Move wand if it existed? Have you every tried the Tank game in Wiiplay with just the wii remote? You control the Tank movements with the d-pad and the gun with the pointer. That sounds mighty confusing to me. I think it would be much easier to train yourself to switch hands than learn to "pat your head and rub your stomach" plus switching the directions constantly. I have no problem switching the nunchuk to my right hand and wand to my left, in several wii games I find it easier to switch hands.

Yes. I would move and point with the same hand. This would be the only way that these games would be comfortable for me to play. I'm glad you find it easier to switch hands, I don't.

I have no idea what you find so difficult. Why would you want to move and point with the same hand? That's like wanting to have wads/arrow keys on a mouse. The wii remote and nunchuck are designed to be used in both hands in either configuration. Same goes with the Move. I completely fail to see the problem.

Jackson is also going to be on the move system. The only reason I am not to into the xbox setup is due to how much room they appear to say it will take to fully use it to function. Also I am a gamer, I still want to have a controller, thats how my mind has been set. To new gamers sure they will love it I am sure, and its really cool to just stand there yes, but for me I still like to feel like I am controlling something, and not just my body. I am a gamer let me sit, drink, and enjoy. Granted...that kills move also, but just like wii...you can always sit and cheat on some of those games :P
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

oh fuck !! you mean they couldn't figure out how to make this an either or controller !?!?!?!?! fuck !!!!!!!!!!

man, there was a mod for Q3A that had a left hand option and it made a BIG difference for me to have the gun oriented for left hand.

fuck the tyranny of the right hand !!!! >:(

It has nothing to do with having wads/arrow keys on a mouse. I use a keyboard/mouse and a standard controller just like everyone else. The problem comes into play when Nintendo designed the Wiimote/Nunchuck as two separate controllers and designed them thinking everyone would hold them and POINT with their Right Hand which is uncomfortable and unnatural to do for Left Handed people. It's like asking you (a Right Handed person) to Throw a Baseball/Football with your Left Hand.

The problem is that we aren't just talking about our FINGERS anymore when playing games... we're talking about our Arm/Hands. Not having an analog stick on both Nunchuck & Wiimote forces me to play Unnaturally. Try playing Super Mario Galaxy like me... switch hands... Point with your Left and Move with your Right. You feel really handicapped right? Just moving Mario with your Right thumb feels wrong to you correct?

So the problem is that you got so used to playing with the d-pad on the left side, that if you swtich hands to favor the pointer wiimote like everyone is suggesting, the analogue stick feels weird on that side. Vice versa, the pointer feels weird on the right.

Just remember, Miyamoto is a lefty, and he seems fine with the controls. WHO ARE YOU to question Miyamoto?
