whoa whoa whoa...source on that? Last I head, Square mentioned a 3DS remake as a "possibility", which doesn't really mean anything.

A thousand pardons. I coulda sworn it was more than a "possibility" in the quote I saw.

Then again, FFVI was quite popular so I'd say it's more of a when than if (especially knowing they remake, port, shovel almost everything they make).

True. But not why not just play the SNES version if the GBA one was so horrible?

The GBA version isn't " horrible". Also why don't you try it before you bash it? the lack of stereo isn't THAT big of a deal.
