Best Snowboarding Game? 1080 for N64?

So yeah I've never owned any snowboarding games. 1080 for N64 gets tons of hype, but I also hear that some of the SSX games are really good.

Is 1080 the best?

I personally think that the Snowboard Kids Games for the N64 are the best. I used to play them for hours when i was a little kid, though i wasn't any good back then

Its alot like Mario Kart, but on Snowboards

There's the old SSX3 vs 1080 Avalanche (GCN) dispute. I'm leaning toward 1080 these days. I like the realism more.

yeah I think SSX3 was the game I used to hear being talked up back in college. Still though - I think the first 1080 got better reviews then the GCN 1080 Avalanche. I'll have to check em out. Thanks!

I never played the N64 one, but I felt like the GCN 1080 reviews were all like "OMG they made the best snowboarding game even better!!"

Man all you guys are forgetting Cool Boarders! Such an awesome series, so much of my youth was lost to those games. Shame it's not around anymore, there really aren't any current snowboarding games that are very good, at least that I know of.

1080 is a great game, but I also have a lot of love for Coolboarders 2 on the PS1.

Amped 2 is the best. Followed by SSX Tricky then 1080 for N64. I didn't really like 1080 on Gamecube.

I played a ton of SSX 3 on xbox. I liked the huge tricks and added style of the game.
