A question about the Neo Geo CDZ
I just bought one, but I also just read that it has an overheating problem due to it's small case. Any truth to that? Any way to stop it from overheating?

Re: A question about the Neo Geo CDZ
could you maybe get a fan and blow on it? but i am not sure how well that would work, since the heat is coming from the inside of the unit.
or maybe take the casing off and have a naked unit.

if you took a shit, please put it back

I've heard of that, but just from what I've read on the Wiki page. Not sure what the actual chances of overheating are though. It also doesn't specify WHAT exactly overheats, so going by that you wouldn't even know what has to be cooled.
I guess the first best thing you can do is not play it for extended periods of time, or at least shut it off to allow it to cool down periodically.
If you wanted to 'mod' the console, that's another story. I'm sure you can come up with a cooling solution for it. I'm not sure how much space is inside the console, if you'd be able to add in a small fan or two. But you could always cut vents and add a small fan to the exterior of the console. If you had a heat sensor gun, like this, you could pinpoint exactly what it is that overheats.
