NES or SNES?
Forgive me if this topic was already created but I couldn't find it, if it is feel free to delete this. But which do you prefer the NES or SNES? In terms of collecting or just playing the games which one do you like the most? It's been SNES for a while for me but I'm slowly turning to the NES side...
Re: NES or SNES?
I prefer snes games to nes games since they are like nes games but prettier graphics but more advanced and improved controls.

Eh, I don't really have enough games for either to judge properly.
It's been fun with what I do have though.

Re: NES or SNES?
Nes came out first and was the best to have. Super Mario bros 3 is the best game on the system, I even have two copies. The creator of mario didn't even direct super mario world only as a producer.

Re: NES or SNES?
I grew up on the SNES, but the NES has a special place in my heart because I used to play Contra and The Goonies II on it over at my cousin's house before I ever owned a console.
Re: NES or SNES?
I prefer the SNES because I have many fond memories playing games like the Donkey Kong Country games, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Demon's Crest, LTTP, Final Fantasy IV and VI, Chrono Trigger, etc. The NES is great too and my most played game of all time is actually an NES game (Dr. Mario) but the SNES' more powerful hardware definitely made for more compelling games.

I'll make the larger generalization by saying 16 bit>8 bit consoles.
