I figured I would atleast ask. I know that Durkada is a fellow boardgame fan and Mozgus is a music fanatic, but what about the rest of yall?
Personally I have been a grognard (wargamer) for fifteen years now. That means that I have lots of maps and books about every major war. Lots of maps, tanks, and little figurines all over the place. Currently I am working my way through painting all of my Battlelore figurines. They are 10mm and I have not painted anything but 28mm in some time - Use to play Warhammer's and Armies of Arcana. I am also direly searching out a copy of ASL miniatures. I am always up to try a new boardgame, but have noticed that I prefer the "ameritrash" over the "eurocrap." However I am also up for a game of Dune. It should also be noted that my Grandfather taught me how to cheat at Bridge (same way he did during the war), and with that knowledge applied and honed to other cardgames over my years, lets just say I got kicked out of alot of parties in college because I was winning a tad bit to much...
I am also a huge fan of 80s and early 90s cartoons (most notably would be Ducktales), Ive seen more movies than I care to think about, and have been a videographer, photographer, and sound technician since I was a child - albite I am a bit of a shame as a sound tech. I also claim I am a writer, but I will let yall decide on that one. Eventually I will get that novel completed. And for some reason I am now part of four different conventions...
Right anyone else?

My other expensive hobby is my muscle car. I call her Vanessa, she is an Australian designed and built Holden Monaro. Not the most expensive of cars but it turns more heads than a Porsche without the price tag (I know this when I ride in my bosses Porsche). The Monaro was sold in the U.S as the Pontiac GTO (albeit uglied up a lot )
It's classic muscle, big American V8 up front with loads of power and an exhaust note that impresses the staunchest of car haters. ( 350 Chev ,like the Corvette used to run )
A tight chassis that allows you to hang the back end out like a nutter and bring it back every time (hopefully).
More fun than should be legal... if you like cars that is.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

I suppose my main hobby right now would have to be film. I'm majoring in Film Studies at the moment, so that helps with my being involved in lots of genres and time periods of film. Even though I've now been immersed in classic film and that of academia, I'm still a sucker for a cheap 80's slasher. I'll take the slumber party massacre series over Citizen Kane any day.
I've been a clarinetist for ten years now. I have several Bb sopranos, one is a simple system, while the others are standard. One of the standard system sopranos is a metal clarinet, made sometime between the 20's and the 40's by HN White Co. I also have my own Bass model and used to play contrabass clarinet in Eb. I own and play quite an assortment from bugles and baritone to digeridoo and percussion.

nice work on the cars guys!
I'm a touring musician for a few weeks a year. My releases are just popular enough to get gigs on the West Coast and in Japan which keeps me as busy as I can be. I cannot deny going professional would be nice, doin it 5 days a week would be hard but rewarding. My talent lies in live shows and performance and my singles have simply not been able to transfer that. Kind of nice to know I can rock a dance floor though.
Other than that my work is live event video projection in large venues. Along with that you can't help but become a fiend for video technology in general. The more I know the worse everything looks and sounds though, harsh.

television repair - been doing it since I was about 8 years old... nearly 2 decades now (just a couple more years)
Mathematics - I eat, sleep, dream, shit, vomit, raise, think, breathe, screw, play, and just about anyother normal action Mathematics. I am obsessed in the numerical representation of systems, and the systems that can be derived from it... I don't know why, but this is what the majority of the time of my life is spent doing.
Music - I listen to it, I listen to ALL of it... I don't have a specific genre, just anything that makes me nod and say "yeah, now that makes me feel good". My big ones right this moment are Johanna Newsom, Foetus, The Yoko Theory, Thrill Kill Kult, the Knife... I also just got back from a Jethro Tull concert this evening... great fun!
Movies - wanted to get into the whole art of movie making, direction, writing, the sort (not acting though)... but alas I didn't want to get lost in a world fueled by consumer crap that for some reason passes as film. Fuck them! So instead I offer my assistance to my friends who are in the industry.
Rocks - I collected rocks as a child, still have my collection today
Etymology - obsessed with the history of words. Oh my GOD!
...
ummm, that's my main obsessions. I have others... I just like to learn, that's my biggest obsession. I need to absorb all the information in the world that my brain can handle. It has been shown I can handle quite a bit!

I love to read and collect books. I read alot of scifi and fantasy, classics, just about anything good I can get my hands on. I am addicted to collecting the old "gamebooks" from the 80s, Lone Wolf, Fighting Fantasy, Endless Quest, and even some of the CYOA.
I enjoy boardgames playing and collecting as well. I play plenty of the eurogames but have fond memories of the good ole ameritrash. can't seem to find too many players for them these days tho. Sure seems like old GW boardgames fit in the ameritrash category... am I wrong?
I am an avid 'thrift shopper'. I love going to second hand shops to see what I can find. really helps with the gaming and books.
I am a LARPer or Live Action Role Player. I play Amtgard, which has groups all across the US.
we make and swing foam swords at each other while dressed up in medieval "garb" that I also make. we get together twice a week at my local park. we have a lot of fun and its a good workout too.

I'm such a 'manchild'
I feel like the definition of retro geek after rereading that, but I guess I'm not alone =)
