It will drop like Ketsui did on PCB.

Ketsui was going for $1200 now it is $400. I would expect it to go for around $100-$150 solid now. No more No Less! Similiar things happened with PSN rereleases and Ikaruga on DC and GC.

Considering I paid closer to $150, I hope you are right. Some stuff - e.g. the PS1 FF games - didn't really drop much post PSN release. Here's hoping this one follows that trend...

Buy one made in late 2009. I have 2 from late 2009 and have had no issues since.
