Yeah, backloggery is pretty much the definitive version of what you're looking for. You'll see plenty of people around here with a sig powered by it, me being one of them.

* The server seems to have reached capacity so I've temporarily closed site registration to help ensure there isn't even more downtime than we're already experiencing. Registration will return in a limited capacity (probably some sort of invitation system) after the site remake is launched.
* Work on the remake itself will resume in about a month, after I recover from arm surgery.

It looks like backloggery finally maxed out its server. It seems registration will be closed for some time. I suppose I could send you an invite in the future, if you're willing to wait that long.

In the meantime, the only other site I've seen is RFGeneration.com, some members here use that also. I gave it a try, but I found backloggery to be easier to manage and more visually appealing.

playfire.com is pretty decent. I use that one right now since I hate the redesign IGN did with their site.

rfgeneration.com has the best collection tools I've come across, and also a massive and up to date list of almost any game you can think of.

Seems backloggery could make a lot of space if they just delete a lot of the stagnant accounts. There are lot of usernames with zero games listed...

But if you ever get into backloggery, that's the one to go with. I have completed a lot of games because of that site.

Backloggery.com is for if you want to track how many games you've beaten or completed.

RFGeneration.com is really for if you want to track the completeness of your collection, including boxes and manuals. I like and use both.
