Battletech/Mechwarrior Universe fans

Wild question, are any of yall wellversed in the Battletech/Mechwarrior universe? I have some specific questions and thought I would ask here before going to their forums.

I don't know how well versed I am, but I've stoked an interest since I first started playing MW2. Sarna.net is a really good wiki for the universe.

I don't know how well I know that universe either but I used to play Mechwarrior.

I played MechWarrior 2 and 3 on the PC. Those were some kick ass games. I would've played the tabletop game, but I didn't have the funds or any people my age to play with.
