Brad has gone crazy and bumped everything! Kind of interesting, at least. Welcome! Glad to see your an adult with a job and bills to pay instead of an annoying guy asking a billion questions that a simple google search could answer and forgetting everything he's learnt about grammar.

Ha, yes I do value grammer.

I mean it was a little excessive I admit that but still he was just filling in the blanks from missed time.

BTW, welcome to the forums Bradtemple87.
Considering how often people are lectured for not finding that one thread from 3 years ago, I'm a bit concerned by this discussion myself.

To me it wasn't that they were old threads, just that they were old threads with a post like "That is a great game".

But anyway, once catching up and settling in, all is well. I don't think any of us meant to dump on em, just that there were suddenly full pages of short post bumps in a few sections. :)

hobie has it right: this thread isn't about bumping old threads, it is about a new member making 80+ posts in a very short amount of time. i don't go to many forums, but i am pretty sure this isn't the norm. some of you have already spoken for him and said that he did this because he was excited about joining the forum. well, i also am pretty sure that this isn't the norm either, especially for a mature adult working and paying bills.

and i think that jceree did a good thing about making a thread about it, bringing it to light to other forum members. i AM NOT saying the new member is bad, but i think what happened the other day should INITIALLY raise some eye brows and suspicion.
if you took a shit, please put it back

I agree with this, bumped threads are not too bad if it is like a few weeks, a month at a strech but years is a no no.

Lot of forums I go on suffer with members talking about the same things all of the time because of that.

After reading the subject line, I was half expecting to see the word "bump" at the bottom of the thread.

The first thing I thought when I saw this thread pop back up was "bump".

Yeah, I have no problem w/ the guy, but a lot of the old threads that were bumped weren't really worthy of extra discussion and he didn't really add much to them. He seems to be settling down and settling in a bit now, tho, so it's all good. I just remember going into the RPG forum and seeing a ton of threads I hadn't read about stuff like "Should I Buy This Game?" and when I went to answer, I realized they were from years ago. LOL
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games
