Are you a fan of wrestling? Used to be a huge fan. Now just a passing fan.
What is your favourite franchise? WWE I guess. It's the easiest to follow.
What are your favourite wrestling games? Any of the six N64 AKI games. Tecmo World Wrestling on NES.
What are your least favourite wrestling games? Can stand WWF RAW on SNES/Genesis. Finishing moves ruined it. Same with The Arcade Game and In Your House
Which ones do you own or have owned? Tons of them on many systems.
Who are your favourite wrestlers? Ric Flair, Jake Roberts, Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase (Sr.), Rick Rude, Jacques Rougeau, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, Dynamite Kid, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Booker T, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Mick Foley, Randy Orton (yes, he is awesome), Satoru Sayama, Mitsuharu Misawa, Antonio Inoki, Kenta Kobashi, Jyushin Liger, Keiji Mutoh, etc....
Favourite matches: BOTH Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon ladder matches, Bret vs. Owen Hart at Wrestlemania X, Davey Boy Smith vs. Bret Hart at Summerslam '92... many others
Wrestling games.

I should probably watch RAW a bit more so I know what you're talking about...

Best match I ever saw live (where I was in the crowd) was the hardcore match between Randy Orton vs. Mick Foley at Backlash 2004. The Beniot/HBK/HHH match was incredible also, but Orton stole the show for me.

Oh, I was just referring to The Miz's catphrase which is usually, "I'm the Miz, and...I...am....AWWWWWWWESSOME!!!!!!"
I remember Randy's feud with Foley, it was great. They did a tv spot where Foley was pushed down some staircases by Orton. I heard somewhere that it was actually Foley's idea to do that. I've also heard that Foley likes to take stiff shots in his matches so it looks real. That guy was hardcore to the bone. But yeah, Randy is fun to watch. I love how they've had to turn him into one of the good guys recently because they couldn't keep ignoring the positive response he's been getting from audiences everywhere. Nobody wants to boo him anymore, because he's just that damn awesome

I can play any wrestling game with another player, but Fire Pro starting with the GBA games and now Returns for PS2 have ruined me for any other wrasslin game, they are just in a class of their own.
My least favorite are are the old WWF games on the NES. I was excited to play them on an emulator recently and was disappointed, glad I never wasted my money on them as a kid.
Too many favorite wrestlers and matches to list. But without hesitation I can say that Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is my favorite manager and color commentator of all time.

I can't decide between "The Brain" and Jessie Ventura. Both were amazing, as far as I'm concerned. Gorilla was always a good match to either of them. Even Vince was pretty decent, especially with Jessie carrying him.
"Will you stop!" -Gorilla Monsoon
NOBODY can touch Bobby, Jessie or Gorilla. Not even JR, who is probably 4th in my books.
Gorilla : (Referring to a match in progress in texas) "Well, we'll be right back with a fight that's taking place very near where a big fight occurred many years ago"
Brain : "You know why there were only 220 mexicans at the Alamo?
Gorilla : "Why?"
Brain : "They only had one car"
Racist, but it was okay then. Funny as hell.

If you can find a 2nd payer, co-op tag team in WWF Wrestlemania Challenge is quite a fun experience.
Re: Wrestling games.
1) As a Kid I used to breathe, eat, and sleep wrestling. My life used to revolve on it. Unlike kids today, I didn't know it was fake. I stopped watching when I noticed its fake and when I could predict exact results and endings of all the matches in a ppv. stopped watching 98-2007, got smackdown vs raw, and I am not just kinda following whats happening.
2) Hard to say, each franchise had its good times. WWF 80's all the way to mid 2000's was alright. WCW '96 to about '99 . ECW around maybe '94 to 2000. But over all it must be WWF, it provided the entertainment for the longest time possible.
3) I really liked the N64 games, it used to be super cool back at the time. Also Wrestlemania arcade game with Doink and Yokozuna was a lot of fun, I believe its very under-rated(if people forgot about it). WrestleFest is unforgettable . nWo vs the World I played the most.
4) I totally hate the button-mashers . Any game you need to just button mash the controller until your skin is ripped off is stupid, those used to be the SNES ones, although I liked WWF RAW. I also hate the early wrestling games, where wrestlers hardly look like themselves and action is very slow , probably games on the NES.
5) Can't tell, but I particularly remember nWo vs The World I had a ton of fun with this one. I still own a pirated WWF Warzone on the psx , so I guess I used to play this one too.
6) I used to LOVE Yokozuna. Sabu, Sandman, Million Dollar Man, Steve Austin(who doesn't?), and I have a special place in my heart for Bret hart and Jake the Snake. nWo in general. Tatanka, I know this is lame :p .
I currently HATE the WWE product, I am not sure how its still thriving . This is probably the worst era of wrestling, sorry for the kids these days.

NATHAN ANGRY!!!
I can't freaking believe it! My XBox 360 screwed up my game save! I was playing Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 for XBox 360 last night. I mean I was REALLY playing it. I was up until 3 in the morning. I beat The Road to Wrestlemania storyline with Chris Jericho. Then I moved on to the normal Career Mode. I beat an entire tier to win the Intercontinental Championship. Which opened me up to win The United States Championship and unlocked the ECW tier, as well as adding tons of stat points to Chris Jericho. As soon as I won the belt I saved my game. There is no doubt about it, I saved it. But then the next time I turn on my XBox, when I go to the continue option the save is nowhere to be found and I'm starting at match 1 again with no stats, not only that but now I'm Triple H. WTF?!! Where's my hard-earned work??!!! I don't even want to play it now I'm so angry. But weird enough, it did save my Road Wrestlemania storyline win with Chris Jericho.
