Re: Wendy: Every Witch Way Review (GBC)
I picked up a copy recently for a few dollars at a local thrift store. It is very good, and it is definitely one of my favorite GBC games. It reminds me of Metal Storm for the NES (one of my favorite NES games, BTW) - but it is way, way easier.

Good review. WayForward has done some of their best work on the GBC. While Shantae will always be out of my price range, this game seems within my grasp. It's still pricey, but not nearly as much as the latter.

@ noiseredux: I feel you. I've been looking for this since 2002. Emulators hate it. It was a huge pain to get not glitched screenshots for the review.
@ prfsnl_gmr: did you read my review? I feel the same way you do. The only problem I have is the game is way too short (at only about half an hour!) and every stage is basically the same. The end boss was a joke.
@ lisalover1 Wendy is a good taste, but Shantae is the true gem of their work. This game is like an appetizer at an expensive restaurant. Sure its made by the same chef, but it's no $50 steak. But hey, keep looking. You'll luck out someday. Shantae is worth it.
btw I love your Kim avatar. Where did you get the Scott Pilgrim sprite?

I re-read your review (which is very good), and I just caught the Metal Storm reference. I haven't spent much time with Wendy Every Witch Way yet; so, I can't comment on the final boss. Anything is bound to be easier than Metal Storm, however.Satoshi_Matrix wrote: @ prfsnl_gmr: did you read my review? I feel the same way you do.
