I've got to say that I am VERY partial to the Sega CD version.

All versions have their own charm tbh. I enjoyed the Sega CD version the most to answer your question.

The PS1 enhanced remake is probably the best to play; IMO the story is better and makes more sense in the original version without the revisions (although I did not play the Sega CD version, just read about the differences).

I don't know much about the PSP version, the GBA version is a decent game and for the system rather competent, but can't hold a candle to the PS1 version.
