should i get a PSP?
Re: should i get a PSP?
I own both a PSP-1000 and a PSP-3000 buy a 3000 if you want to hook it up to your TV and play it like a console in your recliner!
Edit: Note you can play downloaded PS1 & PSP games from PSN on your PSP-3000, you don't need a crappy PSP Go to do that!

How exactly does the hook up work with a 3000? I've read that you just hook it up with a composite cable and the PSP will be displayed on your tv, but to actually play a game you need to install a program onto your PSP or something. I also see mods and add-ons you can buy to play it on a tv. How do you go about doing it?ujnhunter wrote:I own both a PSP-1000 and a PSP-3000 buy a 3000 if you want to hook it up to your TV and play it like a console in your recliner!

A 3D handheld?, sorry but I want keep my eyes to 30 year old.
PSP is a good portable console. I have a PSP-3000 an really enjoy playing different games from action to RPGs, the critics says that PSP have the best version of KH so ever exist.
DS is good but i can emulate it 100% in a middle class laptop so don't waste money on it.

The psp is definitely worth it. I just finished YS Seven this week and will be picking up KH Birth by Sleep soon. There are a lot of excellent games for it, especially if you love stuff ported from japan like I do.
Re: should i get a PSP?
It means that the PSP, from my experience of playing it is a dull system. There are alot of RPGS on the DS, too. Or do those not count?

Are you here to trash the PSP?yomomma1 wrote:It means that the PSP, from my experience of playing it is a dull system. There are alot of RPGS on the DS, too. Or do those not count?
I own both the DS and PSP, and each has their own strength and weakness. The original poster was asking if the PSP is worth purchasing, and I say yeah, if he liked the games that were on the PSX, there are remakes that are improvement on the PSP, like FF: Tactics, Lunar, SMT: Persona.
The DS has plenty of great RPG to choose from as well.

Yeah I'm wondering that myself.. In fact I wonder if this guy is here just to trash Sony... Not that I love Sony or anything these days.. (I'm starting to favor the PC and Nintendo more)skyknight wrote:Are you here to trash the PSP?yomomma1 wrote:It means that the PSP, from my experience of playing it is a dull system. ^No, not true. Sony has good Software, music and other media departments and subsidiaries. I am saying that I think that the DS has a better library than the psp. Or is it inconceivable that that is true?

I totally agree. Get both. If you're patient, you can get a good condition PSP for $70 or less. I know because I have bought two.skyknight wrote: I own both the DS and PSP, and each has their own strength and weakness.
