I managed to somehow become a member there. Was about a month ago so I must have been in the previous batch of newcomers. Its pretty much how you have described it i.e. you get some news leaks etc and some developers also post there too like some people from Bungie.
Managed to get myself banned for a while there too for bumping an old thread (in case your wondering I asked about if that Landstalker remake was canned or not). It can be quite hostile there too.
Anyway, good news that we are getting more Bangai-O but I also have concerns about the DS's screen to display all those enemies. Now Bangai-O in HD on PSN/Live would be sweet!
