I grew up with Snes, my 7th birthday present! I still love it to this day. I was then given a n64 for my 12th birthday. I believe I was 15 when I got an XBOX for xmas, but then only a few months later I traded a neighbor for his ps2 along with vice city at the time and a few others. I enjoyed my ps2 much more. Current gen, I have the 360 and I'm happy with it. Over the years I've picked up the genesis, dreamcast, sega cd and whatnot. But those were the systems I had growing up in each gen besides 8 bit which I only played at friends/relatives houses.

Atari to sega must have felt like a huge leap.

I was 12 when the Atari 2600 came out so my attention shifted to girls and cars pretty quickly. It wasn't until 1990 when I played a Genesis at a party that I got back into home systems. I was content with arcades for a number of years.

No love for the dreamcast?

To be fair, many of the dreamcast's great games were eventually ported to one of the other 3 consoles anyhow.

Colecovision (well I had one at least, don't remember playing it that much though)
NES, Gameboy
Amiga 2000
Genesis
PS1
PC (Pentium III)
PS2
Don't own any current gen consoles

I have pretty good memories of playing with friends on NES & Genesis. Anything after that I played single player games mostly.
