I watched the first season and thought it was brilliant. I saw some of season 2 but stopped because of another show that was on at the same thing I think(possibly Lost). So I missed out on the rest of the series. Season 1 was incredibly good though and I plan on sitting down and watching the whole series one of these days
Most of the best shows on tv go unnoticed it seems. No one watched Pushing Daisies either. That show was original, creative and fun

Going through season 2 of Supernatural. Digging the show, sort of reminds me of Castlevania with the whole cursed family fighting evil thing, which would be the "Winchesters" here rather than the "Belmonts". There are just certain elements I love like the classic rock/heavy metal soundtrack that is infused into the show's DNA. Also, digging the awesome muscle car they drive around and some of the badass weapons like the Samuel Colt, which has bullets that can kill ANYTHING non-human but has a finite supply of bullets. Imagine getting one of those badass magnums in the old Resident Evil games, but being stuck with the ammo you find it with for the rest of the game. You'd think hard about what to use it on
This is very much a testoterone infused show, which surprised me a bit. When the show first came out, all I kept hearing was females talking about how hot the male leads are, leading me to believe that this was a show aimed at teen girls like that silly Charmed or those Twilight movies. So I immediately wrote the show off and didn't watch it until now
The show has some fairly good action scenes and I like that it really doesn't hold back on the gore and violence, giving it that horror movie feel. It's defnitely more graphic overall I'd say than stuff like Charmed, Buffy, etc. Speaking of Buffy, bonus points to the show for referencing it in one of their season one episodes.
It's not perfect though, the monster of the week formula can get tiresome and some of the stuff the brothers get away with sometimes is silly. I'm talking about them doing silly things that would realistically get them killed, or how easily they can fool authority figures with their lies and cover ids. Still, the writing is decent enough so far, dialogue's alright and the show sticks to its continuity pretty well. I'm told the show gets better with each season, so I look forward to seeing it mature

I made it through 4 or 5 episodes before I just had enough. All the Rogue in the world isn't enough to make me want to keep watching that show...
You're a stronger man than I am. I stop watching before even finishing the second episode. And it's not like I can't enjoy a show about vampires. I loved Buffy and Angel and I'm really enjoying Supernatural, which has the occasional vampire on the show as well, but True Blood was just awful.
