Me neither. I don't smoke and given that I'm asmathic it's a death sentence. A faster one, anyways

I'm also pretty much anti-smoke for other reasons. Except if you are a train, then you can have my babies.

That is true, and that's why I don't smoke tobacco. Too much health risk for too little gain.

But, I don't judge. I see smokers throwing away years of their life on tobacco. They might see me throwing away the best years of my life playing video games. To each his own.

I smoked for a brief 8 months or so during my Army years. Now I can't stand the smell of the things.

What I never figured out is how someone gets started in the first place. As I understand it the experience isn't too pleasant the first time.

I've smoked a couple, just to see what's up. It's a cool head rush at first, but that phase doesn't last long. I knew that beforehand, so I didn't repeat the experiment.

Most girls don't enjoy sex the first time either. Guys do, but they're doing it wrong anyway.

You have revealed way too much about yourself in that post.

I can't believe 1/4 of us here smoke. Yikes! That is way too high.

The same could be said for drinking beer/liquor. The first time I tried both I thought they tasted awful and didn't understand how people drank it so often. Now a days the taste doesn't bother me as much, especially after the first two drinks.

Smoking is like a lot of other addictions, the more you do it the more your body becomes accustomed to it.

That I didn't know how to have sex the first time around? Hell, the world can live with that knowledge. I probably still don't know to this day.

Truthfully, I've always viewed smoking as something people end up doing either because of peer pressure or someone in their family doing it. This means that even though the first time is unpleasant, they keep at it until they are used to it because it just seems like the normal thing to do
