Borderlands is randomly crashing my pc now. Itll go good for a bit then randomly crash. The belief is that the sound driver is not 7 compatible.

Try doing the 'verify files' thing in Steam if you have it on there. I somehow managed to open it twice the other night which crashed me at the time and I had it randomly crashed on me twice last night. I did the verify and 2 files were hosed. I loaded up Borderlands last night for the first time via Steam and had it crash on me. After the third time, I uninstalled and am still reinstalling.
