This list is pretty much dead on. I see you mentioned imports though, and if you have interest in Yakuza 3 (which is great) you should look into Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan. It's quite text heavy though. There is a very extensive guide at GameFAQs that should be able to direct you to do nearly anything. It's just like all the other Yakuza games (Ryu ga Gotoku is the name of the series in Japan) but it takes place in the 17th century Japan, so you play as a samurai. You actually play as Miyamoto Musashi, and the game creates a super romanticized version of the Musashi story.the7k wrote: Demon's Souls, 3D Dot Game Hero, Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3, Yakuza 3, LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers, Katamari Forever, PixelJunk Series, Critter Crunch, Flower, Joe Danger, Super Stardust HD, Everyday Shooter, Shatter, Comet Crash, Trine, Echochrome. All these games should scratch your itch for off-the-wall, unique gaming experiences.
