I got my first car.

I just got my first car. My elderly neighbor died and his remaining possessions were sold. I ended up buying his white 1989 Chevy Celebrity for 650$ from his family.It has 152,000 miles on it but it runs well and had it's air compressor replaced + a new paint job last year. I know it's not much but it is my first car. Unlike most 16/17 year olds, my parents made me buy my own car and are going to make me pay for gas/ insurance. I have a job, so paying for it is no problem. Anyway i just installed a 800$ stereo in the car that i picked out and now I'm on the road.

Well unlike most people i didn't just put a Sub in my car. I bought two nice pair of speakers to go in it. Other than video games one of my few passions is music. I can't stand to listen to music on a bad systems. When i say on the road, i don't mean i haven't driven before. I mean that it's the first time i can just take a vehicle and go without having to ask my parents to borrow theirs. I did like driving my mother's car thought. She has a nice 76 convertible Cadillac Eldorado.

Oh yeah, and then there's the paint job and window tinting for the real high rollers. Sure, it pours black smoke out the back and the brakes squeal when you think of tapping them, but it sure looks COOL.

I live in a town of 300 or so people. The term ghetto is never heard here and only like 2 black people live here. I have ventured into bigger cities so i know exactly what you mean. Once i saw this guy who had a set of rims and a system in a car that had RUST HOLES eating through the car.

Yeah, it blew my mind when I first saw places with "Rent to Own" rims.
