Also, this is pretty bleak news for the US, but what about Europe and Japan? Anyone have PS2 release guides for those? Surely the PS2 must still be supported in Japan fairly well. It's legendary with the Japanese.

It's the SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 0, which is supposed to be all pre-Neo Geo era stuff.

I'm still curious about this. I believe it went Open in Europe in 2008 sometime. So what European exclusives have come out since? And more importantly -- are there new ones planned?

yeah I think it launched in Brazil in 2009. Which I would assume would mean continued games. Think of the SMS and all the games that came out for it in Brazil way way late in its lifetime.

Supposedly Sony has been releasing games in Brazil, but I have no idea where I can buy them.
