There is really no story. I have it but have not touched it in a while. I think you can start from any level right off the bat. It's hard as HELL! There is a pretty bad slow down problem. I remember loading up the first level and dying in about 2-3 seconds after over 100 projectiles came towards me.

I'll have to revisit this game. I bought it at the same time as a bunch of other shmups I was more interested in and put this one aside.

I also noticed the slowdown! You are much better off picking up the dreamcast version if you can find it.

It was that good kind of hard though as I recall, I got so addicted to that game. Never got past the final boss though. Guess this will give me another chance

I love the Dreamcast and DS games. It's Treasure, I'd be disappointed if there wasn't slowdown.

I'm glad it's a new one but I say that kind of greedily since I own the DC version.
