What was the last game you finished?
Re: What was the last game you finished?
I forget when I last updated, but I haven't beat that many games in recent months. I passed Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent, Half Life 2: Episode 2, and Half Life 2: Lost Coast recently.

Played a couple sessions of Bananagrams with my wife and in-laws. I'd like to finish the core game of Borderlands with Hobie, sevin, and jade....eventually.

Re: What was the last game you finished?
I finished Beneath a Steel Sky a few days ago. It was pretty good, but I felt it was a bit short, and I still prefer LucasArts' classic graphic adventures. I think I need to give it another playthrough to fully appreciate the story, though. I had a couple of relatively large gaps in my playthrough due to delays while I was moving.
I got pretty annoyed at a couple of pixel-hunting puzzles, too. One thing I really liked about Simon the Sorcerer was that there was a key you could hit which pointed out every item you could interact with on the screen.

I remember the last game that i finished was the battles realms Kenji's Journey and the winter of the wolf. Its was a nice game because of great quest and character. It has a story from kenji's until the winter of the wolf. It has 2 episodes and it great hope you play this game also.
Re: What was the last game you finished?
This past weekend was a productive one for me! Well.. in terms of gaming, not really in terms of house-work - was hoping to continue rebuilding my bathroom, but alas.
Anyway, got 3 more to add.
EDIT: List removed to conserve space, full list available on most recent post.
I think I'm going to continue in the Mega Man vein with 4, 5 and 6 and then perhaps move onto Castlevania 1 and 2.
Wario Land was a really fun game with tight, yet constrictive controls. Being in the Mario-verse you expect to be able to hold the dash button to run, but Wario just plods along although I did discover that holding Up on the D-Pad while jumping makes you move faster, so that's typically how I'd move throughout the levels. The interesting thing I was thinking about, is that this is one of the few games where you play the game as a character with purely selfish motives, and one of the few games I can think of that you play as a former (and, really, still) villian. Looking forward to playing some more in the series. I had played the Virtual Boy Wario Land a while ago, but have since sold my VB.
Rocket Knight is awesome. Even though I've beaten it, it's a game that makes me want to go back to keep playing on harder and harder settings. The only complaint I can issue here isn't against the game, but against the controller. I've never been comfortable on a Genesis controller, I end up using it like a hybrid console-arcade controller with the controller on my lap pecking at the A, B and C buttons with my right hand while using the D-Pad with my left thumb. The 6-button controller is a little better, but I'm still not comfortable with it.
Mega Man 3. What else can I say about Mega Man that hasn't been said before? It's fun, great gameplay and solid controls. I can say, from recent experience and childhood memories, that the series got easier as the sequels kept coming. But even still, all around great!

Resident Evil 5, using a modified savegame. What a pile of zombie shit.

Haven't finished anything since Rome Total War.
Thanks everyone...

Been plodding away on my list... 3 to add.
EDIT: List removed to conserve space. Full list present on most recent post.
I've been on a Mega Man kick recently, can you tell? I was going to write quick recaps of my recent impressions but it became quite lengthy and figured I'd drop it in the "Reviews" section instead.
Anyways, Mega Man 4, 5 and 6. Again, what can I say about the NES Mega Man games that nobody already doesn't know? They're fun? Well, who doesn't know that? Sooner or later I'll get back to Mega Man, the original, but that's going to be a pain in the butt. I do remember defeating all 6 robots when I was younger, but I'm certain I never beat it.
What to play next? I was planning on the NES Castlevania series, but I think I may hold off on that and possibly do another Genesis game or two. Perhaps X-Men and X-Men 2?

Metroid Other M; and got 100%. I'm thinking about giving hard mode a shot but I doubt there's another ending. I'm not really up for beating a fun game on hard mode and taking the fun out of it without any good incentive...
