The History of Nintendo

Post by christoph »

Pix'n Love Publishing wrote:Pix'n Love Publishing was founded in 2007 by three young Frenchmen, each very passionate about the history of video games. Their goal is to offer gamers, as well as anybody curious about the subject, a selection of reliable books about their passion: video gaming and its history.

Three books are already planned to be released. The first one, the History of Nintendo (1889-1980) will be available around the end of August. We recommend you pre-order it though, as this will be a very limited edition!

I have pre-ordered one. It's one of the most fascinating periods of time in Nintendo's history, very cool to have it all compiled like this. I can't wait for them to open the pre-orders on Vol 2 as well.

I have that one, it's good for Atari and Nes era Nintendo, but not for Genesis era above.

Here's another good one I've read through:

It also cuts off just as the Genesis comes out, but it's got a lot of anecdotes regarding some of the decisions Nintendo made and their ability to be in the right time at the right place.
