What fighter are you currently playing?

Marvel vs Capcom 2 - Not often, but I play it every now and then. I try to expand to other characters, but I always end up going back to Felicia as my main, and then either BBHood, Anakaris, Zangief or Cammy as my back-up.

I'm assuming you don't play ranked with that lineup? I personally hate the game with a passion... MvC>>>>>>>MvC 2(joke tier game)

I got my 50 One-Character Victories quite some time ago, and 48 of those victories were with Felicia, Anakaris, and BBHood.

Felicia is my main, BBHood applies constant pressure with projectile spam, and Anakaris will use his throw when I've got the enemy right where I want them. If he grabs, I immediately double tap back with Felicia, and as they are being slammed, Quarter-Circle Back + 2Kicks to do "Please Help Me" - the enemy can't do nothing about it and suffers massive damage.

Heck, I've actually been able to hit people with "Please Help Me" 3 times in a row if I get them in a corner - which will usually kill even the toughest opponents.

Also, Marvel vs Capcom for the Dreamcast. Yeah, the first one. MvC2 is too tiered up for my tastes.

Just played some Breakers, and I've been playing a bit of Pocket Fighters lately for laughs.

I honestly wish that a lot of the moves they made up for Pocket Fighters found their way to other games. Sakura's move where she dashes while wildly flailing her arms and legs is both hilarious and devastating, Zangief's Cossack Dance is similarly hilarious and devastating, and Felicia's Electric Shock, Piledriver and Aerial Rolling Buckler just make her a force to be reckoned with.

I'm no fighting game connoisseur by any means, but I've always felt that MvC1 was an all around more polished, complete, and all around fun game. MvC2 always felt like more of a novelty to me with its ridiculous roster (many of which are unusable or clones of other characters).

I couldn't get enough of it I showed this game MVC to off to all my PSX owning buddies that had shoddy ports of Capcom games and they wet their pants withe excitement (not literally).
I was never so proud to be a Dreamcast owner back then

I do prefer MvC1 as far as balance, presentation and cohesiveness goes... but MvC1 doesn't have Felicia in it. =P

MvC2 has four problems, and their names are Magneto, Sentinel, Storm and Cable. If just these four characters were cut from it, I feel that most of the grievances with MvC2 would be easily forgot.

I feel pretty sure the extremely wide gulf between those four and the rest is a matter of "Oh shit! Our license with Marvel will expire soon! Let's shit this game out ASAP!" I feel like Capcom vs SNK 2 suffered a similar fate, with it's SFAlpha copy-paste characters clearly dominating the rest of the cast.
