Re: My collection...
I was considering grabbing the PSOne from the box at Salvation Army (4 dollars), but my mom doesn't like me frequently buying consoles, so I just got the Genesis
Next time I'm there I might consider it

Agreed. I would rather have one decent game than ten crappy ones.
I usually only buy games that I know about anyway. I don't buy doubles either. (Unless I saw another copy of Super Mario RPG for 2 bucks at salvation army, thats a different story

Re: My collection...
That's awesome to see so many young collectors already. I'm 28; I had no idea we had so many younger guys who care about the classics.

Came in to post this. I'm only 23 and have been acquiring games since I was little, but hardcore "collecting" for 10 years or so.
Great start by the way! Personally, since you already have a couple Genesis games I would recommend getting more into the Genesis scene... it is very rewarding! The guides on this site for Genesis are pretty damned spot on.
(I would unofficially recommend trying some Genesis games on an emulator to see which ones catch your eye, there are a lot of unusual titles out there!)
Got: Atari 2600, Atari 7800Pro, Commodore 64, Odyssey 2, Sega Master System, NES, Genesis Models 1-3, Nomad, Game Gear, Sega CD Model 1, Sega 32x, SuperNES, GameBoys, GameBoy Pocket, GBC, Sega Saturn Model 2, GBA, Nintendo 64, Playstation, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 2 Slim, Nintendo DS Lite, Xbox 360, Gamecube, PS3 Slim

Nice collection!
You're young so you've got your whole life to continue on and acquire more gaming stuff! And of course the quality of games is much better than the quantity of them, as others have said. You've got great games so far so I can't wait to see where your collection is in a few more years. Keep it up

Wow, Excellent collection for a 13 year old.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.
