Check for disk rot
Check for normal wear
Clean the lens

Try again

Hey Broski,

I don't know much about Atari JagCD, but from what your telling me... it definitely sounds fixable. I wouldn't worry to much.

Might just need some white lithium plastic grease for the gears in the CD mechanism, or perhaps a new fuse, or at worst a few capictors. All VERY cheap fixes.

I would check on the Atariage.com forums.

Good look mate!

 @benderx

anyway, based on my experiences with other cd consoles.

-Do audio cd´s/other games work?
-Have you looked for the machanism that tells the console that the lid is closed? maybe it´s not registered as closed.
Try turning the system upside down. perhaps it will work then (I did that with PS1)
ok, good luck. Let us know how it went.

In an eBay auction the AVGN had, the description said that he could get it to work if he prayed to the Jaguar God and offered a slut (apparently Jaguars don't like virgins).
