I'll have to look at some walkthroughs to try to understand the game. The first thing I found is that there is no walkthrough for Parodius Portable since it's a collection of Parodius games.

Any Parodius PSP fans here?

I have the PSP pack, too. Oshaberi Parodius Forever With Me has got some of the funniest commentary ever. If you need help with the PSP collection, PM me and I'll be glad to help.

Week 2 of the shmups forum fun, so Xexex. Not Konami's finest backgrounds on the 3 levels I've played so far, but the game is fun. Of course die and you're slow as hell and up the creek, just like Gradius games.

I see some of you are switching games at a remarkable rate. Are you finishing them, or are you just finished with them?

I'm still working on Touhou 6. Got a new high score and got to level 5 on my first credit for the first time last night. I think I'm looking anoter 6 months realistically before I finish this game, if I can ever do it.

Several of us are in the shmups.com's STG Tournament, and the game changes every week. So all of us hopped on Cyvern last week, and now we're on Xexex.

OIC. Can you actually get anywhere in a shmup in a week? For me, that would be like reading the first chapter in an epic novel every week.

I never got past the blasted level 2 boss in Cyvern. A fair number of people in the tourney didn't either. :?

Doing better this week after a few games last night I can get midway through level 3.

Y'know I love Shmups, but I often use them as pallet cleansers. I play a level or two, save my progress if possible, and then play something else.

BTW, are there any good Vertical shmups for SNES or Genesis?

Any Toaplan shooter is a winner. There's also Raiden Trad.
