Who else is going this time? It'd be cool to get a crew together for lunch :D
i'll be there of course...maybe this time we can work it out better. who knows.

For anyone on the fence about coming, it would be well worth your drive if you live within a few hours from Reading, PA. They have a ton of retro stuff for sale there - things I have never seen with my own eyes anywhere else, things I have salivated over online, really sweet imports, etc. Some of the prices are very good, some are very bad, most are fair. I'd suggest picking up a wad of cash and coming.

I am also thinking about bringing some stuff to trade, so maybe we could do some of that as well if people want.

Even if buying/selling is not your thing, in addition to the aforementioned live Racketboy podcast they usually have lots of other panels, game-related musical acts, great competitions for all kinds of games, minor gaming celebrities in attendance, and much more going on. It's a fun day, and a nice smaller sized convention that doesn't feel overwhelming.

Here's a nice write up of the one from earlier this year, if you are curious: http://cpgamestream.wordpress.com/2010/ ... ring-2010/

Dude Weasels, sorry I've been off PS3 and Ad Hoc. I have a projector for my TV and my bulb blew so I'm off PS3 and 360 for a little while until I get a new one. Sorry man, we were having a lot of fun playing MGS: Peace Walker. Such an awesome game.

Lunch with some Racketboy members would be sick. I hate to encourage making another thread but it really does help to be on that front page for a day so people know about this. Unfortunately, not many people search the forums.

I just read that it only goes on for one day. Nonetheless, I will definitely get there, no matter how hard it is for me. lol.

EDIT: How can I identify other Racketboy Members at the convention?

just a friendly reminder to check out on of the better retro video game shops while you're in town for the convention. They're just a few miles from the hotel itself. Check out level up video games here:

I know i mentioned them last year, but they really are worth checking out in person or online.
