I'm pretty much of the same mind as noiseredux on this subject. I'd specifically like to know if there is a way to use the exploit (possibly with a general-purpose ELF) to boot CD-Rs, e.g. ISOs, EXEs, etc. BTW, I burned a CD-R, but my PS2 won't recognize it. But PCSX runs it just fine. Oh well...

Re: ELF Loader?
Nope, you can't use the exploit with CDs.
Re: ELF Loader?
Patch with ESR Patcher and then boot with ESR Loader. Easy.

Re: ELF Loader?
Yes, that what you need to do for DVD games. It doesn't work for CD-R which is what the OP was asking about.Niode wrote:Patch with ESR Patcher and then boot with ESR Loader. Easy.
Re: ELF Loader?
CD-R is not enough information
Is it a PSX image or a PS2 image?
CD based PS2 games can be converted to DVD to work with ESR
PSX games can be played using swap trick

PSone, Xbox, PS2, DC, SS Mod Service, PM for details
