Pretty sure. I played this game non-stop for years after I got it when I was 8 or 9 (bought it new with b-day money). I still play it through a few times a year. I generally play on normal setting. Maybe it's just 3 shots on difficult? I don't know.

Great write-up and very accurate. I remember this being the first "difficult" game I ever conquered when I was a kid. It came out when I was 12 or 13 and I was in line to get it, another first for me. Bought it at toys'r'us in Kennesaw Georgia. I played it that night until I fell asleep with the controller in my hand. I woke up when my body shifted and I fell over knocking the NES off the table it was on and gashing my head in the process. Who says video games aren't contact sports?

Easier by far than the first, way deeper than the first and waaaaay more fun than the first, I have to agree with your assessment. I think I'll have to get this again for my NES.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm looking to cover as many aspects of a game that I can. Megaman 2 does outclass Megaman 1, but Megaman 1 is still a classic NES game worth owning and playing.
